Tess Azcuna is not just an actress or a model—she’s a force at the intersection of entertainment, business, and global culture. From dominating the stage as a young performer to curating high-profile industry collaborations, her journey is anything but conventional.
A Star in the Making
Raised in Singapore, Tess cultivated her artistic talents early. She trained in ballet, piano, singing, and Mandarin Chinese before stepping into the world of theatrical acting at 13. Her exceptional ability was evident when she became the only student to achieve a perfect score in a highly competitive national drama program.
Her passion for performance quickly translated into international recognition. In 2015, she competed in Premiere Event, an elite global talent competition, where she not only won first place in acting but also secured second place across all categories—an achievement that solidified her status as a rising star. By 16, she was already working in entertainment internationally.
From Runways to the Big Screen
In 2018, Tess made history again by winning The New Paper New Face, Singapore’s most prestigious modeling and entertainment competition, on her second attempt. The victory propelled her into national campaigns with brands like L’Oréal, Sephora, Superdry, and Heineken, along with features in Cleo magazine. She also became a radio personality on 91.3FM Glenn and The Flying Dutchman, Singapore’s top-rated morning radio show.
But her ambitions extended beyond modeling. She pursued acting more seriously, landing lead roles in festival-awarded films and expanding her work to the U.S. market. Moving to Los Angeles in 2019, she continued to build her presence in both Hollywood and Southeast Asia, blending Eastern and Western influences into her craft.
The Business Mind Behind the Talent
While many entertainers focus solely on their creative careers, Tess took a different approach—leveraging her global network and industry knowledge to step into the business world. She has been involved in strategic partnerships, brand collaborations, and industry consulting, supporting projects that bridge entertainment, technology, and education.
To further hone her craft, Tess studied acting under the Stella Adler Theatre & Conservatory Los Angeles, immersing herself in the same techniques that shaped some of Hollywood’s most legendary performers. Now, she is working closely with the board of Stella Adler as the institution expands into film production, securing partnerships with major studios for endorsements and further cementing its influence in the industry.
She also curates high-profile events that bring together creatives, founders, and industry leaders, fostering collaboration at the intersection of media, storytelling, and innovation. By blending her artistic sensibilities with a sharp business acumen, Tess is helping shape the future of entertainment both on and off the screen.
A Global Future
With her unique background, Tess is poised to continue making an impact across multiple industries. As an actress, model, and business strategist, she represents a new generation of multi-hyphenates who refuse to be confined by a single path. Whether through film, fashion, or industry collaborations, one thing is clear—Tess Azcuna is just getting started.
