Brooklyn, NY – Chez-Nous, the newly launched alternative art space in Bushwick, proudly
announces its inaugural exhibition, “Serendipitous: A New Group Making Noise in Bushwick.”
This dynamic group show, born out of a shared residency at the School of Visual Arts, brings together
seven emerging artists for the first time in a collaborative and experimental setting. The exhibition
opens for one day only on February 2, 2024, from 1–4 PM.
The featured artists—David Berger, Rosi Maria Di Meglio, Marie-Chloé Duval, Valeria Maldonado,
Chloe Scout Nix and Charles Park—each bring a distinctive voice to this collective presentation.
Their work spans diverse mediums and perspectives, reflecting the rich dialogue and creative synergy
that emerged during their recent artist residency in Manhattan at the School of Visual Arts.
Chez-Nous is an alternative art space created for Artists, by Artists. It offers a fresh approach to
exhibiting work: no commissions, no fees—just a space to foster creative exploration, collaboration,
and community. In an art world that often feels fragmented, this inaugural show embodies the spirit of
unity and innovation that Chez-Nous was founded to champion.
“In a time when the art world desperately needs fresh perspectives, ‘Serendipitous’ celebrates the
importance of artists and communities coming together to create something meaningful,” says the
founder of Chez-Nous. “This is a moment for bold ideas, collaboration, and rethinking how and where
art is presented.”
