Hamptons Fine Art Fair 2025: Our Favorite Artists and Booths

The Hamptons Fine Art Fair opened its doors on July 10, 2025, bringing together an eclectic mix of established and emerging artists in one of the most prestigious art destinations on the East Coast. After exploring the fair, here are our standout booths that captured our attention with their unique vision, craftsmanship, and storytelling. For this 19th edition of the fair, 140 galleries come together for a celebration of creativity and art in the East End. This is a must-see event for any art lover! Grab your tickets for the VIP Day 2 evening reception this evening or for this weekend!

Jeans Gallery Booth 145: Picasso's Whimsical Legacy

Named after the founder's grandmother who collected Picasso's pottery and instilled in him a love for the artist’s work, Jeans Gallery offers the perfect opportunity for collectors to own a piece of Picasso history at an accessible price point. The booth features a curated selection of the artist's ceramic works from his time at the Madoura studio, beginning in 1947.

These whimsical pieces represent a chapter in Picasso's artistic journey, where he created designs that were then produced in limited editions of 300 or 500 pieces by the studio. Among our favorites were the charming owl vases and a particularly striking piece featuring a ship with a siren design adorning the bow. For collectors seeking to add a Picasso to their collection for only $15,000 or $45,000 (much less than the million-dollar price tags of his paintings) these ceramic works offer the perfect entry to collecting a verified master artist sure to appreciate even more.

Martinez Art Gallery Booth 214: Oscar Molina's Universal Humanity

Oscar Molina's powerful "Children of the World" series tells the personal story of migration, identity, and shared humanity. Molina fled El Salvador as a refugee 35 years ago during the civil war, and his experiences as an immigrant inform every aspect of his artistic practice.

Molina's sculptures are intriguing, featuring human figures cast as shadows with deliberately removed eyes. This choice reflects his belief that we must "see with our hearts and souls to recognize the humanity within each other." By eliminating the visual markers that often divide us, race, color, and physical differences, Molina challenges viewers to connect on a deeper, more spiritual level. His work serves as a powerful reminder that beneath our surface differences, we share a common humanity that transcends borders and backgrounds.

Bermano Gallery Booth 200: Joel Berman's Million-Dollar Masterpiece

Joel Bermano, known artistically as Bermano, has created one of the most spectacular and unique pieces at this year's fair: “Perfectly Imperfect” is a $1.25 million painting featuring a 27-carat natural diamond set within a whimsical scene with the pink panther. The centerpiece shows the Pink Panther in a yoga pose beneath the sparkling diamond. With a sparkle only outshone by Bermano’s personality and positivity this work is undeniably the eye-catching at the fair.

The philosophical depth behind this work is as beautiful as its visual impact. Bermano draws parallels between diamond formation and human resilience, noting that "just like a diamond shines and is formed under immense pressure, life for humans is one where we experience intense pressure and we can choose to shine." His concept of being "perfectly imperfect" celebrates embracing our flaws as part of our divine design. With collectors including Nelson Mandela and Pope Francis, and having raised over $300,000 for global causes, Bermano's commitment to using art for positive change is evident. For the sale of “Perfectly Imperfect”, ten percent of this sale will benefit Operation Smile.

Richard G. Nolan Gallery Booth 134: Sculptural Impossibilities

Richard Nolan's sculptural vases challenge our understanding of functional art through their optical illusion-like designs. The former mechanical design engineer brings his problem-solving background to woodworking, creating pieces that are as intellectually engaging as they are stunning. Our favorite piece featured spiral cutouts from neck to base, making it impossible to hold liquid. This is a beautiful contradiction that is a hallmark of Nolan's signature approach to design.

Constructed from cherry and black walnut hardwoods, these extraordinarily light pieces (with walls just half an inch thick) showcase Nolan's mastery of technique. His seven-layer oil conditioning process creates a matte yet gleaming finish that must be seen in person to be fully appreciated. Each piece is meticulously planned, drawing from his mechanical drafting background to create works that leave enthusiasts wondering exactly how they were constructed.

Whitebox Art Space Booth 149: Jon Tsoi's Intuitive Creations

Jon Tsoi's multimedia works, constructed with rope, paint, and found objects, perfectly capture the relaxed sophistication of the Hamptons setting. What makes Tsoi's process truly extraordinary is his commitment to creating through pure intuition. Tsoi applies a blindfold while working, allowing him to tap into his inner spirit (Yin) which can then be absorbed through the eyes (Yang) when the work is complete.

The trained artist and acupuncturist of Chinese medicine often incorporates audience participation into his performances, having onlookers choose colors while he creates pieces without seeing. This unique approach results in spontaneous compositions that blend painting, rope work, and found objects into cohesive artistic statements. Notable collectors of his work include Sarah Seamark, Editor in Chief of Art World News, testament to the sophisticated appeal of his intuitive methodology.

Scott Troxel's work at the Hamptons Fine Art Fair 2025

Art Gotham Booth 122: Scott Troxel's Playful Sophistication

Scott Troxel's wooden sculptures embody the perfect marriage of Hamptons aesthetics and playful functionality. His calming blue and white tones immediately evoke the coastal setting, while the innovative design allows wooden components to be rearranged and assembled in countless new configurations. Both smaller and larger pieces work beautifully individually or combined in the same space, offering collectors versatility alongside artistic merit.

The award-winning mixed media artist specializes in wood and metal wall sculptures and freestanding pieces, having exhibited at prestigious venues including The Other Art Fair New York, DIAF South Korea, Texas Contemporary, and SCOPE Miami. Troxel's transition from industrial designer and product developer to full-time artist in his early 40s mirrors the journey of commercial artists like Andy Warhol, who honed their skills through real-world applications before shifting to fine arts.

Jocelyn Formento's textiles at the Hamptons Fine Art Fair 2025

Jocelyn Formento Fiber Arts Booth 206: Textural Masterpieces

Jocelyn Formento's textile creations are tailor-made for the beach house aesthetic, featuring navy and blue color palettes with explosive textures that seem to capture the essence of her native California. After a successful career in biotech, Formento's travels as a surfer to far-flung destinations exposed her to diverse cultures that would fundamentally shape her artistic direction.

It was in Mexico that she discovered fiber art. What began as a hobby evolved into a serious artistic practice, leading her to travel the world learning traditional techniques from master artisans. Today, her woven textile creations are true masterpieces, showcasing masterful color palettes, textures, and braiding techniques that reflect her global influences. Beyond her artistic practice, Formento gives back by teaching weaving workshops to Mexican women, providing them with livelihood skills to support their families.

Yigal Ozeri photorealistic scenes at the Hamptons Fine Art Fair 2025

Corridor Contemporary Booth 347: Yigal Ozeri's Photorealistic Poetry

Yigal Ozeri, whom we first discovered at the Mana Contemporary Open Studios in May, delighted us with his presence at the fair's opening day. His photorealistic portraits of women are stunning, but his newest works add an intriguing compositional element reminiscent of Edward Hopper's desolate diners and contemplative scenes.

Ozeri's series of restaurant booths with stunning lighting captures the essence of a sunny summer day with nothing to do but find a diner and sip coffee with a friend. This artist has truly mastered his photorealistic style and craft, creating a body of work that celebrates both Americana and women in wild, natural environments. His refreshing addition to the walls at the Hamptons Fine Art Fair demonstrates how technical mastery can serve deeply emotional and evocative artistic vision.
